Good Morning FCA Family,
Fall is here!! Our students are enjoying their time on the playground because of this beautiful weather. We have a few events coming up to keep everyone busy!!
1) This week is National Fire Prevention Week. This week is set aside every year to honor firefighters and call attention to the dangers fire can cause. It is also used by local fire departments to educate children on fire safety and to introduced children to their local firefighters should they ever need them. Tomorrow, Wharton Fire Department will be on campus at 9am. They will bring their fire suit, their tools, the fire truck and other educational materials. They will spend time with all our classes.
2) On October 21st, we will be hosting a Law Enforcement Appreciation Breakfast & Chapel. We have passed out invitations to local agencies. There are extra invitations in the front office. Please invite the special police officer in your life. We want to take time out of our day to thank them for all they do. Parents and the community are also welcome.
3) There will be a bake sale to benefit the school on Saturday 10/29. All families are encouraged to bake bake bake!!! More information about this fundraiser will be distributed by PTO.
4) The FALL FESTIVAL will be Monday 10/31. Kids are allowed to wear costumes as long as they are NOT scary, bloody or demonic. Plastic guns and knives (example: cowboy, soldier, pirate or ninja) are allowed during the fall festival but should be stored during class time. More information will follow as the event approaches.
